- Abstract
The article reports on Standard 90.1 adopted by the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA), the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating & Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and other organizations. Standard 90.1 has served as the benchmark for local and national building codes as it defines minimum requirements. Examples on how the standard has been implemented are discussed in the article. A chart of the subjects and the corresponding comments on the addenda of the Standard 90.1 is also featured. Other issues on Standard 90.1 are also discussed.
