- Abstract
The article discusses the use of the BACnet computer network building automation protocol technology, developed by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating & Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), by the company Aculight in Bothell, Washington. Aculight develops lasers for military and industrial use and needed a climate control system that could maintain precise climate specifications in several different laboratories. The author provides information on how BACnet met the climate control specifications.
