- Abstract
This research aims to study the phenomenon of production and consumption of knowledge, through the social and intellectual guidelines existing within a network of researchers, having the Amazon as research object. Through documentary research, 160 scientific articles were selected for the acquisition of primary data, delimiting as a time loop the scientific productions carried out between the years 2016 to 2021. The analysis of the results was carried out in two stages. In the first one, with the help of the Ucinet software, cohesion between groups was verified through the n-clan measure in order to have a real notion of the immersion of each researcher. In the second part, through the use of KH Corder software, it was possible to perform analyzes through word co-occurrence networks (frequency, clans and variables). Regarding the frequency of words, the ones that appeared in greater number, in addition to the word theme and its search descriptors, were: forest, deforestation, environmental, management, Brazil, land, region, policy, community, brazilian, use, social, study, state, result and resource. Through the formation of clans (social) and the selection by words/themes (intellectual) the integration between the two analyzed phenomena was carried out, reaching the conclusion that the researchers are analyzing, studying and debating, mainly as themes associated with the Amazon: deforestation, climate and its changes, environmental policies, the sustainability barometer, land use, sustainability indicators, corporate commitments, gas emissions, sustainable innovation, among others.
