Pitting of fingernails.
Abstract
The article presents a case study of 10yearold boy with a 2year history of intermittent alopecia on the posterior scalp presented with densely distributed pitting of all of his fingernail. It notes diagnosis of alopecia areata (AA) with associated nail pitting; and also mentions treatment with with intralesional triamcinolone diluted with normal saline and injected in dermal blebs over every square centimeter of involvement.
