As the diagnosis of pelvic actinomycosis was highly suspected, we started with a diagnostic laparoscopy: we found two ovarian cystic with a pelvic adhesion but no ascites and no obvious abnormalities were noted in the peritoneum or the surface of the intestine. Actinomycosis is a rare, chronic and infectious disease which touches the pelvis in less than 20% of cases.
