- Abstract
The article discusses the overview of Sebastian Sailer concerning the impact of witchcraft on the development of German literature in the eighteenth century. Sailer shares his attributes on witch-hunting towards the development of German folk-culture and the atmosphere of religious enthusiasm towards the fear of witchcraft. He shows the relation of religiosity and witch-hunting on the survival towards the disenchanted world in the eighteenth century.
