- Abstract
The article offers information on the study focusing on changing the care pathway for Type 2 diabetes at the time of diagnosis and it's the role of the multidisciplinary team. Topics discussed include guidelines with the concept of a stepwise process to achieve glycaemic control by initial lifestyle intervention, followed by oral agents as monotherapy; and concludes that numbers of people diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes creates a major strain on resources.
