- Title
Induced resistance for plant defense.
- Authors
Borges, Andrés A.; Sandalio, Luisa M.
- Abstract
The authors reflect on the research topic concerning induced resistance for defense responses of plants. Topics discussed include the role of β-aminobutyric acid (BAA) as a plant defense inducer and priming agent, the influence of nitrogen fertilization to plant-pathogen interactions, and the study conducted by A. A. Borges and colleagues on the effectiveness of priming crops in preventing biotic and abiotic stresses.
