- Abstract
The article describes the case of homozygous deletion of the cathepsin C gene (CTSC) in a family with Papillon-Lefevre syndrome (PLS) in Iran. Topics covered include the presentation of presentation of palmoplantar hyperkeratosis and early-onset periodontitis and the possibility that CTSC mutation is caused by PLS.
