- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a seven-year-old female who was presented with a history of multiple annular crusted plaques on the trunk and extremities. The patient was diagnosed with epidermolysis bullosa simplex, Dowling-Meara type (EBS-DM) based on the electron microscopy, biopsy, and immunofluorescence mapping study. It discusses EBS-DM which is caused by an autosomal sporadic or dominant abnormality of the keratin-filament network.
