- Abstract
The article discusses the potential use of dual targeting of B7-H3 and EGFR as a therapeutic strategy for high-risk colon adenocarcinoma (COAD) patients. It found that B7-H3 expression was associated with advanced stage and the risk of distant metastasis in COAD patients, and correlated with poor disease-free survival. Dual inhibition of B7-H3 and EGFR increased the susceptibility of B7-H3-expressing colorectal cancer cells to chemotherapy. The article suggests that targeting B7-H3 and EGFR signaling pathways may be a promising strategy for treating high-risk COAD patients. Additionally, the document contains a list of references to studies exploring the expression and clinical significance of B7-H3 in various types of cancer, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic target and prognostic marker in cancer treatment.
