- Abstract
This editorial explores the relationship between goal-directed behavior and creativity in human cognition. It emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration to understand the cognitive and neural mechanisms underlying creative thinking. The document includes summaries of five articles that examine different aspects of creativity, such as the influence of mindset, group dynamics, loss aversion, multilingualism, and feedback valence. It also discusses the role of negative feedback in improving employee performance and fostering team creativity, as well as other activities that have been suggested to enhance creativity. The editorial concludes by highlighting the need for a comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing creativity and effective strategies to promote it in various settings.
