- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines the models for pyramid Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) crops to show the factors that should be considered in using high dose-refuge strategy for resistance management. It states that the high dose-refuge strategy involves the high expression of toxins in Bt plans and the administration of Bt plants as refuges. It mentions the three mechanisms such as the force of selection, assortative mating, and male mating success.
