- Abstract
As can be induced from the analysis of textbooks, the way economics are taught in the French secondary school is featured both by a very wide scope and by a general tendency to use macroeconomic explanations. Therefore, its main goals - knowing and thinking the world - cannot be achieved. Selecting just a few subjects of analysis and a few analytical concepts would be a far better way to reach them.
