- Abstract
The article discusses research which investigated the clinical classification and outcomes associated with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Topics explored include the categorization of ARDS severity based on partial pressure arterial oxygen and fraction of inspired oxygen thresholds, the intensive care unit (ICU) length of stay of ARDS patients involved in the study, and the recorded in-hospital and all-cause mortality of patients with ARDS.
