- Abstract
The article focuses on the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism after death using computed tomography (CT) scan imaging with peripheral contrast injection followed by chest compressions to restore partial blood flow. Topics discussed include the procedure of contrast injection for post-mortem imaging, the importance of distinction between ante-mortem embolism and post-mortem clotting, and the advantage of performing the CT scan as soon as possible.
