- Abstract
The article discusses an investigation project by the Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources of Xinjiang Xian, China exploration for the recognition of regions rich in soda niter minerals. It describes the emphasis on research of soda niter mineralization rules, stratum classification and engineering grid control. The unique mineral deposits in two regions including Kumtag in Shanshan County and Xigobi in Hami are also discussed.
