The article discusses methods for legally combating human trafficking in the U.S. and in other countries as of 2017, and it mentions moral panics, anti-exploitation laws and policies, and the legal rights of undocumented and migrant workers in America. Moral panics and the legal rights of employers, employees, and sex workers in America are examined, along with the nation's Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000, immigration reform proposals, and U.S. prostitution-related data.
