The article focuses on the political violence in the Philippines particularly internal armed conflict and terrorism in Mindanao. Topics discussed include the need for the proper development of strategy and community involvement in preventing extremism, the importance of he inclusion of armed forces on implementing peace strategy, and the importance of developing counter-narratives against several forms of extremism in the country.
