- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 56-year-old man who was a former smoker and developed a giant cell carcinoma of the lung. He was presented with a cough and hemoptysis for two months. His chest skiagram and computerized tomography (CT) chest examination showed opacity in his right upper lobe, decreased air entry in his right lung apex, and mixed density mass lesion in the right upper lobe. His condition deteriorated and he succumbed due to the disease nine months after surgery.
