- Title
A NEW SCA FRAMEWORK TO UNCLOTHE THE BUSINESS MODEL ATTACK.
- Authors
Mehta, Meet
- Abstract
The article discusses that the business model theory is a weak attack on social media services. The modernized conceptualization of the Stored Communications Act (SCA) underlying the framework helps resolve the inherent oddity of the business model attack as it seeks to use a privacy rule to diminish the privacy rights of internet users. Due to the nature of advertising-targeted business models, the attack will have little impact on social media services and their SCA disclosure protections.
