- Authors
Cross, Alan
- Abstract
The article discusses the mathematical method in determining the thermal performance and the effects of fouling in direct-fired heaters utilized by chemical process industries. It states that the study is essential in resolving the changes in the cost of decoking services. It emphasizes on the performance of the heaters with regardless the operation condition especially the most worn-out heaters. Diagrams are also presented depicting the radiant and convection section of the heaters.
