Abstract
The article announces that construction of a semiworks plant that will convert sorghum, other biomass materials and organic wastes to gasoline in Houston, Texas. Owned by Terrabon LLC, the plant will convert these materials to gasoline by breaking down lignin, fermenting by a variety of Clostridium bacteria, and decomposing carboxylate salts. Chief executive officer (CEO) Gary Luce explains that the plant will likely produce gasoline for an operating cost of $1.35 per gallon.
