- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the leaching of norflurazon through the alluvial soil in Mississippi River. The study used gas chromatography, Soxhlet extraction, and electron capture detection. Results show that a cumulative leaching of norflurazon through the day 302 has amounted to 155 millimeter (mm) and it losses into the subsurface drains for two seasons.
