Three species of the genus Lebertia (Hydrachnellae, Acari) have the same pattern of annual occurrence in the organic drift. Their activity maxima in the diel period are asynchronous. L. salebrosa is day-active, L. glabra and L. stigmatifera are night-active. The ‘time-niches’ in the 24 hr-period are discussed.
