- Abstract
The article focuses on questions related to future of group procedures. Is anyone who can hold a knife in his quivering hand acceptable as a surgeon? The public demands that appropriate professional organizations regulate the practice of surgery. There is evidence that the public is becoming concerned about the proliferation of self-acclaimed group experts. In opinion of the author of this article it is my opinion that the membership of the American Personnel and Guidance Association comprises the best informed national professional organization in the area of group procedures.
