- Abstract
The article compares the clinical findings inpatients with ocular tuberculosis in the 1990s and the 2000s. Analysis revealed the higher number of cases in the 1990s group with complications involving extraocular tuberculosis. Data showed that the higher proportion of patients who received antituberculosis treatment in the 1990s group and no difference in the proportion who received oral corticosteroid therapy. More patients in the 2000s group underwent laser photocoagulation and there was an increase the percentage of eyes with better visual acuity.
