- Abstract
Lignin based resin ball precursor (B) was synthesized by suspension polymerization using organic solvent lignin (OL) ex‐ tracted from acid exploded poplar wood as raw material, p-chloromethylstyrene (VBC) as monomer, and ethylene glycol dimethyl acry‐ late (EGDMA) as crosslinking agent. Friedel-Crafts reaction was carried out under Lewis acid catalyst to form a rigid super crosslinking network structure, resulting in high specific surface area and oxygen content of lignin based super crosslinked resin balls (HB). The best adsorption effect of HB was aminated with diethylenetriamine (DETA) to obtain nitrogen oxygen co-modified lignin based porous resin (HAB), which was used to remove rhodamine B (RhB) from water. The results showed that when the VBC addition was 2. 0 g, HAB had the best adsorption performance for RhB. The Langmuir model fitted its maximum equilibrium adsorption capaci‐ ty to be 213. 7 mg/g. The kinetic fitting showed that its adsorption rate was mainly controlled by the diffusion process and could reach adsorption equilibrium within 150 min. The adsorption capacity of HAB increased with temperature, and its adsorption of RhB was a endothermic process.
