- Authors
Hill, T. G.; Hanley, J. A.
- Abstract
The article presents a study regarding the internal structure and water content of the Blakeney beaches. The study aims to obtain information regarding the sequence and stratification of the structural materials and of investigating the problems associated with the freshwater content of such areas. It also discusses the conditions which appear to be of importance from the ecological and the economic point of view. It discusses that an accurate internal structure of a shingle beach may be obtained from a surface survey between high and low tide marks.
