This article presents images representing diffusely increased glucose consumption in the articular cavity of the left knee and focal glucose hypermetabolism in the left tibia adjacent to the prosthesis confirmed suspicion of infection following total left knee replacement in a patient with chronic fever and presence of Staphylococcus aureus in blood samples.
