- Abstract
The latest issue of the journal "Cities, Communities & Territories" includes a tribute to one of its founders, Vítor Matias Ferreira, who passed away. The issue also features articles on various topics, including the student accommodation crisis in Portugal, the consumption and disposal patterns of electric devices among university students in Argentina, the daily living conditions of young migrants in São Paulo, the revitalization policies of the central area of Recife, and the role of creative dynamics in Brazilian metropolises. The essays section explores the skills of urban planners in times of uncertainty, the need for inclusive urban spaces for neurodivergent individuals in smart cities, and the interplay between grassroots initiatives and institutionalized planning practices. The policy briefs discuss access to land within international agendas and the role of social participation in land regularization processes in Brazil.
