- Abstract
The article reports on a study that explored genetic variations and generated new allelic data for five single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) located in four skin pigmentation-related genes among male individuals from different populations in India. As mentioned, the results showed that irrespective of any grouping, about 70% variation is attributable to differences within the studied populations.
