- Abstract
The article presents a study which aims to evaluate whether the sonographic characteristics of myoma can predict blood loss at delivery in women with large myomas. The study analyzes the diameter of myoma, the location in relation to placenta, and the presenting part of fetus in relation to blood loss at delivery and postpartum hemorrhage. The study shows that the presence of large myomas and multiple tumors is associated with heavier blood loss at delivery but not with postpartum hemorrhage.
