- Title
Eurozone.
- Abstract
The article discusses the unlikelihood of a single policy rate to be a good fit for 19 different economies as in the Eurozone based on the Taylor rule as of November 2015. Topics covered include the often erroneous European Central Bank (ECB) policy rate at a national level, and its general soundness for the Eurozone as a whole, and the zone's basically artificial construction. Also noted is the possible optimization of its currency by reforms in fiscal policy, institutions, production factors.
