- Abstract
The authors comment on the article "Duration-dependent effects of the BDNF Val66Met polymorphism on anodal tDCS induced motor cortex plasticity in older adults: a group and individual perspective," by R. Puri and colleagues in the 2015 issue of the journal. They explore the effect of brain derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in central nervous system (CNS) and neuronal growth and survival, focusing on the Val66Met single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) within the human DBNF gene.
