- Abstract
In the early 1990s, the first thing that came to mind when talking about games was the games that young children created within certain rules in order to have fun with each other. Today, the game is expressed as an action involving individuals from all ages, from all ages, from all generations. The aim of this study is to compare digital games, e-sports and traditional sports with each other and to present a conceptual framework related to the subject determined within the scope of the research. In the research, the literature review technique (primary and secondary sources), one of the qualitative research methods, was used. National and international scientific articles and books related to the research subject were used. In the light of the data obtained, it has been concluded that digital games, e-sports and traditional sports differ from each other in their physical, social and economic dimensions, the opportunities provided by the developing technology are an undeniable fact, and many applications and basic living areas in human life have changed with this situation. It is recommended to carry out studies with a wider content on a similar subject to the research and to examine the subject from different perspectives with quantitative research methods.
