- Abstract
The article discusses the need of a psychological approach to combat breast cancer mortality in Pakistan. Topics discussed include need of early diagnosis in reducing mortality due to breast malignancies; according to a study the average patient's delay in Pakistan's breast cancer patients is around 4 to 5 months; and according to a study breast cancer is a socially unacceptable disease and could result in a negative response from family members.
