- Title
Recurring Fiscal Issues in Service Contracts.
- Authors
Peterson, Marques; Fox, Don
- Abstract
The article examines the myriad challenges and fiscal principles that are involved in contracting for services and their implications for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). It is stated that the reality of DoD acquisition is that more dollars are spent on the acquisition of services than on high-technology weapons systems. Among the fiscal issues discussed are indefinite delivery or indefinite quantity (IDIQ) services contracts and services contracts crossing fiscal years.
