- Abstract
The article discusses governmental concessions in corporate bankruptcy proceedings in the U.S. as of June 2013, focusing on U.S. debtor-creditor laws, as well as Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganizations and Chapter 7 liquidations under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Financially distressed corporations and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) are mentioned, along with anticompetitive mergers, government regulators, and the U.S. Supreme Court case FCC v. NextWave Personal Communications.
