- Abstract
Zhuang embroidery is an ancient craft in south China. It is also a major method of improving the culture meaning of Zhuang costumes. In order to better inherit and develop the intangible cultural heritage, construct a basic theory of innovative application of Zhuang embroidery patterns, in view of the unique expression of Zhuang embroidery patterns in cultural connotation and formal language, through investigation method and other research methods, the modeling mode and composition form of Zhuang embroidery patterns were explored from the outside to the inside, and the cultural implication of Zhuang embroidery patterns and the causes of their presentation form were deeply analyzed. The study indicates that the modeling of the Zhuang embroidery patterns has the characteristics that namely " embedded and scattered in harmony" and " the line and the surface combined, the dotted and the solid intertwined" . The composition forms fall into the following categories including a two-way continuous type, a skeleton continuous type, a balanced structure type, a single main subject type and a radial inflow type. The cultural connotation presents diversified and unified features
