- Abstract
The article focuses on Tablighi Jamaat, a religious movement in Kyrgyzstan that urged the faithful to live like the prophet Muhammad. Tablighi Jamaat intensified it involvement in Kyrgyzstan's religious life with the help of people who returned to till the soil after graduating from religious centers in Pakistan and India. It is suggested that the Spiritual Administration of the Muslims in Kyrgyzstan (SAMK) should develop its own conception of Islamic development in Kyrgyzstan that is conducive to its national security.
