- Abstract
This article discusses a study on the synthesis of biodegradable aliphatic polyetheresteramides copolymers (PEEAs) from e-caprolactone, 6-aminocaproic acid and poly(ethylene glycol)(PEG). The study used different methods to characterize the PEEAs, including differential scanning calorimeter, wide-angle X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis. It showed an increase in water absorption by the copolymers due to the increase in the PEG content.
