- Abstract
The differential cross sections for the elastic scattering of 4He nuclei on 15N, 18O, 24Mg, 44Ca, and 90Zr nuclei in the energy range E(4He) = 13–15 MeV per nucleon are analyzed on the basis of the model-independent S-matrix approach by using an evolution algorithm. It is shown that a quantitative description of the cross sections under analysis is ensured by smooth monotonic dependences of the real and imaginary parts of the nuclear phase shift on the orbital angular momentum.
