- Abstract
The article explores the use of spike ripples as a biomarker for identifying the epileptogenic zone in patients with epilepsy. The authors respond to concerns raised by other researchers about their methodology and statistical analysis. They provide additional statistical tests to support their findings and emphasize the importance of accurately conveying the weight of statistical evidence. The authors argue that spike ripples are the most effective biomarkers for localizing the epileptogenic zone and suggest that further research is needed to evaluate their clinical benefits.
