- Abstract
The article presents the author's views on the lessons learnt from participatory democracy with reference to Latin American government. Various topics discussed include political participation of citizens in 21st century, importance of political systems, participatory mechanism methodology in local government and political participation experience of citizens. It further informs about regulations imposed on democratic operations, management of political culture and legitimation of public policies.
