- Abstract
The article discusses the Health eQuits initiative launched in 19 community health centers (CHC) in New York City which aims to increase smoking cessation interventions by providing incentive payments. Topics explored include the adoption of electronic health records (EHR) by participating CHC, the collection of smokers' data by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and the effectiveness of EHR in facilitating cessation intervention programs.
