- Title
A Quantitative Needs Assessment Technique for Cross-Cultural Work Adjustment Training.
- Authors
Selmer, Jan
- Abstract
This article examines a projective questionnaire technique for quantitative cross-cultural training needs assessment of expatriates. Training to facilitate expatriates' adjustment to their work is essential for a successful assignment, but it is rarely offered. Based on a sample of Swedish expatriates and their Hong Kong middle managers, this study demonstrates how the needs assessment can guide the design of appropriate cross-cultural training programs.
