The article focuses on the advocacy efforts of the special interest groups for the Preparing Teachers for Digital Age Learners Act (PTDAL) in the U.S. It explores on the significant challenges in funding the legislation amidst the current economic crises which the Special Interest Group for Teacher Educators (SIGTE) of the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) takes the important role in advocating funds. Meanwhile, the author's shares his experiences during the SIGTE leadership meeting in the National Technology Leadership Summit (NTLS) in Washington D.C.
