- Abstract
The article reports on the opinion of conservationist group The Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) against the plan of the U.S. to erect fence border with Mexico. According to the group, the project could seriously affect the movement and even the survival of endangered species. The fence erection at San Diego area and across a large stretch of with Mexico is one way of the government's prevention on illegal immigration in the U.S. However, Executive CBD Michael Finkelstein argues that impeding the free movement of jaguars, pygmy owls. flat-tailed horned lizards could rush their ability to survive.
