- Abstract
In order to simulate the whole creep process of asphalt mixture well» a nonlinear viscoelastic- plastic creep model is established. The model is composed of Burgers model and nonlinear viscoplastic element in series. The relationship between time and strain can be obtained through uniaxial compression tests of asphalt mixture under different stresses. Meanwhile, the relationship between time and creep compliance can be acquired through uniaxial compression tests of asphalt mixture under different temperatures. Six mechanical parameters of the nonlinear viscoelastic-plastic creep model are obtained by using Origin software to fit the experimental data. The simulation results are consistent with the experimental results, which indicate that the nonlinear viscoelastic-plastic creep model established in this paper is reasonable and correct. This model can describe the accelerated creep stage of asphalt mixture well, which makes up for the defect of Burgers model.
